Paul Williams brings a wide range of experiences to his writing. He formed Makes Words Work LLC, a writing practice serving a variety of technology clients. He has written for and been published in a wide array of online publications and corporate websites in the tech sector, including IBM, InformationWeek, Verizon, Boundary, Electric Cloud and many others. He is also the editor and lead writer for TabMuse, an online resource dedicated to music technology, including equipment and app reviews, industry news, and other media-related content. Williams has served as a technology editor and copy editor for other clients. He also has worked extensively in technology, both as a software engineer and a technical writer. His band, Quarkspace, has long been considered to be one of the top American Spacerock bands. His technology experience runs the gamut of lead developer on one of the first data warehouse implementations in the insurance industry, embedded software engineering on medical devices, to a wide range of web, mobile and desktop application development, with a focus on data modeling and design. Williams’ unique experiences in the worlds of technology, business, education and entertainment give him the broad perspective necessary to research, analyze, and communicate complex issues in a clear manner, yet still be an entertaining read.
